Remeber this? Well.. it's been a long term project that I've been working on between the builds of other kits, and I'm glad to say it's finally done. I know it's not the exact Taisan scheme by any means, but it's where I got the inspiration for the paint job. Pajero rear wheels and tyres, fighter buggy front ones, Kamtec Scorcher ABS shell, CRP falcon front brace and the front bumper from a frog, ball raced, Mtroniks RV11 Viper ESC and Team Brood Pro Stock 27T that I picked up cheap from the bay. More than powerful enough for this beastie (and for me, come to that ;) )

One of the early pics...

Very nice, but how do you keep gravel and dirt from getting into that open ended motor? I had a TB01 once that I put an open ended motor in, and it died right away from small gravel...

In all honesty, I hadn't even considered that! It's been run a few times, and I've n ever had a problem. The brushes and bits and pieces are replacable, and the motor itself was a cheapie.. so I'll cross that bridge when / if I come to it heheh

That looks awesome SteelRat! It just needs some window nets and a driver. Very sharp!

Thanks Steve! Have some window nets in the shape of an onion bag, and I think Willy would be a superb pilot if I could find a way of attaching him. Saw his legs off and glue him to a bit of aluminium plate I reckon

Very nice wheel and tyre setup on this one! Nice looking rear cage too.

Looks awesome. You should try the Carlson fronts that would match your Pajero rears to make this even more scale looking. Great project.

Yeah TK, the Carlson wheels were what I originally had in mind for this car, but had an absolute nightmare getting hold of a set!
