Still currently work in progress but wanted to show you how far I Have got with the project. The scale on this Land rover is 1:8.5! The Body has been fitted 'backwards' onto the chassis to allow for the body to sit at the right height. The axles were swapped with RC4wd ali ones designed by Katan. The rear axle was then mounted using truck leafs so as to bring the wheelbase down by 10mm from the standard length. A drive shaft was made from a pair of UJ's left from the hilux rebuild and a piece of 5mm rod cut to length to make it all fit. The under protection plate was mounted on the mill and 4 new holes cut so as it faced the correct way again! The roof rack was made from polycarb on the mill then stuck together. I engraved a set of number plates as well :) Still got some chequer plating and finer details to get this finished!

Winch and winch bumper yet to be fitted Custom brackets to hold Jeep spots My own made CNC'd Landy rim finds home on door! Rear Axle Front Axle On Show at the LRM newark show!

WOW!! That is a beautiful rig! Where to find a Landy body like that? Looks like you put a lot of time/effort in, also looks to be well worth it.
