2 Year Project... - Sold to Kiwi Enthusiast

This Truck has taken forever to complete, still the driver to do but almost there... It was originally bought locally off a couple of friends I met after several trades on our local trading site sometime in 2007, cheers Simon and Hayden. It belonged to Haydyn's sister where it was in the guise of a Monster Beetle which was pretty tidy. *** Update *** 24.02.08 Bought a Blackfoot off my friend Brett and put the best componets from the 2 cars together, replaced wheels with the correct ones in tidy condition. Then replaced MB CVA Dampers with correct Blackfoot Coil Shocks... Early 08 I'd made a mistake with the rear wheels which I regret now... All tires were glued to the MB rims and I heard that boiling them would release the super glue, it did but not without distorting the rims The back ones were gold also but not in the best of condition... Body on this one is surprisingly good and has the man still on the tree ready for painting. I pulled the old decals off and lightly sanded the body and primed ready for paint... Replaced all screws with new ones, used Black screws and replaced the Black Endurance motor that was in there with a regular Johnson Silver Can *** Update *** Late '08 I finally found Decal's and a set of new rims from NZ TC'er Zequell, cut them out ready to put on... *** Update *** July '09 *** Had some time off work and finally got around to painting and applying decals etc... took my time with the decals and am well pleased especially the bonnet one which I've seen placed badly numerous times on the many Blackfoot's which have gone through my hands. Just the driver to do next weekend and it'll be completely finished. Acoms gear inside.
