Steffi meets Sebastien

This is my wife's Citroen Xsara WRC on a TT-01 chassis. She assembled it all on her own, only the lexan body was painted by me. As I re-started building RC Cars a bout 2 years ago we used to race on parking lots together. Later, as I entered RC competitions again she accompanied me during my training sessions on the local race track. Unfortunately she didn't feel comfortable racing together with many other cars on the track so this car started collecting dust in our basement. Recently as I finished my Lancia Delta drifter she gave it a try on a parking lot again and found that she was quite talented in RC drifting. So we came to the conclusion to turn her Xsara into a drifter, too. So I obtained some Tamiya drifting tires, new rims and locked the diffs. The car has already been modified with ball bearings, oil filled shocks, aluminum cardan, aluminum steering and adjustable steering links some time ago. The only thing I added furthermore is a Tamiya driver insert since the Xsara should match my Lancia Delta. I modified the driver's helmets a bit in order to give them a more modern look. We'll call this one finished for now and hope to get the opportunity for a test drive soon. Cheers, Norbert
