I don't usually get to take photos of the retro racing at Hinckley because I'm racing but was just spectating and marshalling today so here's a few....




Only three cars in the final today due to a few absences and broken cars. Simon's stunning blue Hotshot, James' racing Frog and club car Mardave Cobra.

Despite the small number in the final the racing couldn't be better. It really was neck and neck between the Hotshot and the Frog and (I'm not making this up) the last lap was decided by 0.8 of a second. Awesome :)


Mardave Cobra It's lonely on that back straight.

Thanks for the pics Olly - pity you couldn't race, but looking forward to seeing the Madcap running next week. The final was probably one of the closest races I've had in ages - cheers Simon.

Richard wasn't there this week so no photographic evidence of three wheel action - normal service resumed next week.

Thanks for posting the photo's Olly.

I think there's only 2 or 3 rounds left of the RR Series at Hinckley this year, i hope you (and anyone else out there!) can join us before the season ends.

Lets hope for some more close racing!!
