Ok, finally I got to post pictures of my first Tamiya. I got it back in year 2000 when I was Thirteen. Me and my dad built it, and I drove it a lot in periods until 2006. Then I got back into the hobby with an HPI RS4. The fuel car was fun for a while, but I soon realized my heart belongs to Tamiya ;) This is mostly a shelfer now, but now and then I take it for a spin. The body is well used, and I had to take some stickers from an HPI Cayenne shell to get some new headlamps. A bit different from the originals, but Porsche is good at reusing their design :D

What more to say... Well, first it had an MSC, but that went up in Smoke so I bought an Hitec ESC for it. Changed the Hitec AM radio gear for an Futaba FM receiver, and that is pretty much it. Running the kit included Sport Tuned motor, and of course I bought ball bearings when I got it :) Got a few hopups for it when I discovered eBay, but I decided to keep this original and buy the TRF version instead ;)

Yes I didnt like all the stickers when I got it. I was more into road cars. The rims are the ones that came in the kit

Thank you guys. Yes the road tyres was the only ones I had for hand Maybe I'll change them back to a set of new slicks as included in kit. Like the road tyres but it has a bit too tall sidewalls compared to the slicks I think.
