Sand Rider - on the beach.

Hi there. This here`s my completed Sand Rider project. I`ve gone for the white Tamiya wheels and Pro Line Dirt Hawg tyres seeing as I had them lying arround. I think they look ok but with the tyres being oversised runs the risk of overheating. The only two pinion sizes offered are 19T and 17T so i`ve modified the motor plate to fit 20T and 16T. For this run i`ve installed an 18T motor and 16T pinion. All was ok for a while but as predicted it was short lived as the motor died. It was fun while it lasted. So for the two jump pics which were taken at another location, I installed the 540. After a while it to was getting hot too so I ended the day. All in all I must say how fun it was to drive with the RR body, it really made a difference in enjoyment compared to the SV body. I might try so source a larger spur if one exists.
