Wow... ok, this build was awesome. Every step (Except the shocks). Many of the steps reminded me of my first Sand Scorcher build from 1982. Other steps I didn't remember. I've been looking forward to having a new SRB for years!!!

So I spent some time and did a few extra things on this Buggy Champ. Went for 2 tone color scheme, but wanted to utilize the factory stickers. Paint is Metallic blue Tamiya and Light Green Tamiya TS paint. Clear coated and Inside painted flat black. Painting the letters on the tires was a PAIN! but totally worth it!

Other changes were Chrome covered shocks, Sand Scorcher tire set (Padlatracks and Smoothees!), Awesome Alloys Chassis and Skid plate (THANKS RAD!), Sport tuned motor, and a few other little painted goodies...

I've always wanted a nice looking SRB like I see here on TC. Now I have something I am proud of and can continue to mod as time goes on.

It will be run VERY CAREFULLY, at first I'm sure... :)
Thanks for looking,
Cheers,
Skottoman

I had some chrome decal sheets that I cut to wrap around the shocks, worked amazingly well. Now thinking... 'What else can I wrap?!'

Awesome job. I love all these new original paint schemes the Re-Re is bringing out in people. I hope that you join the SRB Group SIG soon to add it to the gallery

Is the colour scheme a coincidence, or have you been watching Team Schrick? Either way, I love it!

This is a very nice looking BC, even the green wheels look great. It sure is something very different then what we used to see here on TC. You have also done a great job on the driver, he looks great in his brazilian outfit
