I´ve designed a lipo cradle for the TRF511.
With the cradle the lipos are moved back to clear the center bulkhead.
It is secured with 2 screw.
The front screw is using the same hole as the original battery post.
The rear screw uses the same hole as the undertray. So no need to modify the chassis.
I also use the original battery posts and battery plates.
The cradle is 69x47mm, so most saddle pack lipos fit.

2 piece tray Kit battery posts attached to the tray. Attached to the chassi. No problem with the center bulkhead.

Looks like a Tamiya hop-up part, rather than a part someone has made - really professional looking. Guess your daytime job must be an engineer of sorts.

Another awesome design.. The models look like they are from solidworks (the same design software I use). Is that what you build the models in?

That's great! You should start making more of these and sell these and the diff covers to LHS's and on competition events, I think there's a nice bit of money to be made if you sell them at the right spots!

The final product is made by Fibre-Lyte in 2.4 mm carbon.

LiPo tray is now used by TRF Teamdrivers Lee Martin, Marc Rheinard and Victor Wilck.
They also use my long rear diff covers.
