This is the first of the many 'originals' I am restoring from my new hobby room with spray cabinet...

I already had a good chassis and bought a original (unpainted) blue body which was in a bit of a very, very sorry state...

I took some parts of the re-re bodyparts (driver, wingstays, windows, mirrors, decals) and my good friend Paul chromed the C-parts (wing, headlights, doorhandles and vents).

Once again: MANY MANY MANY THANX PAUL!!!

I sprayed the wheels in chrome so it comes a bit more alive.

I painted it using pics of the original Celica LB Turbo (see link @ bottom).

The rearlights are painted with clear red/orange and it really pays off, don't you think?

The rear wheels and tires are new and it has the period-correct MSC (which is the copper one with the fuse).

Anyway, this model really took some effort (but enjoyed every minute of it) and I'm very happy to show it now it is done!

Enjoy!!!

Ow my god... Serious damage...
