First update in ages, does'nt look like much has changed but a majority of the body has been rebuilt. The body is now a solid mass which meant I had to model the inside of the shell too, the wings were rebuilt and are now a part of the body shell as the real SS is. It used to be 6 million polygons total now its 3.5 million, that took months. Very close to finished now but still got Dee Miller front plate LOL.

Will post up real tamiya stuff when its sorted out.

Low poly game cars.

If you liked those pictures, you should see these...

Many thanks all! @ Blacque Jacque, I run a sound recording studio and lecture in Music Tech at a University. Our department also does this stuff for film animation & games courses which I do sound lectures for, so tips & tricks are exchanged freely between lecturers, I've done it for years as a hobby. If I was faster at it I could make a living.........but I ain't and doing it all day every day might just drive me nuts, I need to put it down from time to time .

This is very nice work. So you will do a game some day? Can we expect some nice real rc cars from you too? Top stuff anyway.

The game has been ongoing for ages, it takes allot of people and they come and go. The lower pics fit the brief and 2 furthest cars should be a clue to those who know of a certain Claude Lelouch .

Many thanks again all @ Rad, Trying to port a less detailed version into gta 4 as this one would never fit, in terms of data this model is bigger than all 3 islands in gta 4 and everything in them I believe. It may not work though will post up if it does.
