Capital punishment or imprisonment with hard labour is the only way other people can be prevented form carrying out heinous crimes like this to defenceless Sand Scorchers! :(

This IS the nastiest SS I've EVER seen. Total s***. The front end of some Kyosho has been grafted onto the chassis, using a bolt and a large wood screw! Only the Tamiya front axles have been retained from the original front end. In theory replacing the front end isn't necessarily a bad thing - you get improved handling and less weight in one go. However all of the parts used are completely knackered and very badly fitted. Assorted parts from other cars appear to have been randomly screwed onto the chassis in a misguided attempt to hold a battery pack in place. It gets worse......

The original rear shocks have been removed and replaced with Big Wig ones (I think), this appears to have been done without any thought as to where the tops of the new shocks will be mounted! The rear wheels rely on friction to grip the rear drive shafts. It came with a vintage lexan SS shell that is total *****. Basically it's not pretty.

Now for the good points - errr there aren't any apart from some of the original parts were included with the car so it might be possible to revert it back to semi - standard spec'. If you think you have a rougher SS please send me some pics/links because frankly I won't believe it until I've seen it! ;-)

UPDATE: After close inspection I've decided that the car is so bad all it's good for is as a donor for a project car. The original Tamiya front and rear ends have been grafted onto a Schummacher SST touring car chassis. It still looks rough but at least its' useable (pics to follow)

Bring back hanging It would be kinder to put it out of its' misery Mr.Tamiya would NOT be happy!

I`d like to disagree but you are right, she is a little rough.. all you actually ahve is a chassis, rear wishbones and gearbox, wishbones look great though....like new.

Wow, that is rough. You should have driven it once to see how it handled The front end is a Kyosho Raider buggy. Previous owner should have been shot.
