Beach Scorcher...desert racer or what????? Part II
This is my second flat painted car in 30 years, I have painted military vehicles in flat but never a car until the past year, this is the number 2.
No afterparts were used just what I had in my spare box.
The original idea was changed and I finished with this, I hope you liked and below the text I writo for the first part, you can find in my showroom or following the below link. .

Well I wanted to build a desert racer, what I had at hand. I don’t have special tools more than those used in static modeling. .
I began working on a Super Champ/Sand Scorcher chassis coming from my spare box, I used all the parts I had plus some afterparts and buggy champ ones, the cheaper the better. Then I took a cheap Blitzer body from RPP hobbies, the overseas service rocks. I looked for a Sand Scorcher nose, but after one week I had nothing so 45 minutes were enough to convert the BB nose in a SS (or at least a similar one). .
Since some time ago I also wanted to make a scratch roof rack, I know to use the solder and brass ( as I worked half of my life with electronic devices), but using some alu tube I have since years ago I got a old fashion metal rack, I liked. .
Lights from a Highlift, a fill cap from a 1/6 motorcycle and something is going on, I don’t think this will be a deset racer of course, I already realized that, but I will follow working the weeks ahead to see what else will born from this. .
Next, will be the fenders, I don’t think I want them as they are, tail lights will be from other 1/6 model…and go on.
