Hi guys I have renewed my membership so I can start making comments again to those members that have their settings set to private .
Its been a while I have been pretty busy working on my workshop.
I have now pretty much finished it I have done all the work myself Built workbenches 3m x 3m square all lacqured (Still putting in draws),Done the electrical wiring myself it has plenty of lights 4 banks of double fluero's and one single fleuro above the workbench,Double powerpoints everywhere (You can never have enough Power outlets),Fans above the workbenches,I have installed a fireplace for those cold Aussie winters(Already tested and works great),Installed Surround sound 10 speakers plus a Sub woofer in the roof arch with a Amplifier ,The TV is in with DVD player and a huge aerial outside to pull signals in from outter space,Intsalled Security lights outside (Which light up a grid square),All my tools are now in the shed I have my main tools on work stations with drop down power cords from the ceiling to plug those work stations in my Bandsaw,Lathe,Tablesaw,Bench sander,Circular saw,Drill press .
The phone is installed with a computer (old desktop) and a intercom to the house to buzz my wife and request a Cup of tea (Although it works as a double negative as well as she buzzes me and asks me to do jobs for her).
Finally I have put my built cars on shelves I can throw a painters drop cloth over them when Iam working on other things to minamize the dust (All my Nib's are still in the house for now). All in all its a cool place to be. It has taken me since late last year to finish this Shed/Garage is 10m Long x 6 m Wide I even had room to put the ride on mower in and my canoe.
Every guy needs a shed to escape too this is my domain .
I hope you enjoy looking at pictures of my Tamiya workshop as much as I enjoy working in it .
It has been a labour of love .
I have routered out a nice piece of old timber which hangs outside the access door which says 'Bringalongabeer' (Bring along a beer).
Comments welcome.

The strip-lighting is essential for good visability, too many sheds have bad lighting, yours is perfect!

Wow, the man cave of my dreams. I read the whole description aloud to my wife so she can commit to memory all the things I want in mine. I do notice a lack of a map of the minefield and I like the Trespassing sign. I can only imagine the outside has changed a little since your last post(please link it) with the addition of barbed wire and LARGE motion activated following spot lights. I don't see the drop down ladder for the 50 cal on the roof. Oh wait, that is what is drawn on my build plans. I really like this and would love to come and visit, or have you come over and oversee the building of mine.

Perhaps you should get yourself a one-way intercom instead, so you wont get 'buzzed' all the time.

Cheers.
