Well I have 4 Hummer bodies, and I had several things in mind with them. Beside my runner, which will remain pretty much stock, except ball bearings and stainless steel shaft, I've started with a civil version, which will feature a pickup-back, and which will be painted black. I plan to use a Manta Ray FRP chassis for the civil Hummer, in addition with a lot of other goodies, this will become my "HTH", my "High Tech Hummer".

Another version has come to life due to BaoBao's input with his updated Hummer, with life functions. I always thought about an open version, but never really thought it through until the end. After I saw BaoBao's model, I took a closer look at the chassis and the body, and YES, it should work. So I began with cutting it up, and creating masters for the ground plate. My open Hummer will stay open, it will receive a special custom built chassis plate, but that's a long way to come.

You want to know, what number four will be? Well I am planning to build it as a military ambulance.

The first three pictures show my first conversions together, the civil Hummer with already closed bed, and the open Hummer with the cardboard master ground plate. The last three pictures show the body on the chassis. Fortunately the large compartment between the seats is wide enough to hold driveshaft and a battery beside each other. The very last picture shows the main problem, with the scale body and the existing chassis, I will have to create a different shock tower, and will have to do some trimming to the rear gearcase. I hope it will be sufficient.
