After I saw mad maz Monster beetle I got the inspiration to start restoring my own. I haven't decided about what color I will paint the body yet. Green, yellow or maybe black?

Go Yellow! Yellow Chassis, Yellow Shocks, It's got to be a Yellow shell too ( And maybe some Lunchbox wheels aswell - you can never have too much Yellow! )

Chassis looks great in yellow - anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit of a fan of yellow RCs. Seeing that chassis looking so good I'm very tempted to have a go at spraying up a new Frog chassis I've got spare - any tips on doing it?

I would say black, it makes a good contrast! Are you using decals?

Thanks for the comment guys.
I have no decals in mind for this project, but this project will not be finished until next year, because lack of money. So something might turn up.

That's great, what kind of paint did you use? Is this going to be a shelf queen or a runner?

I used a spray can I bought at the supermarket.
It's supposed to be a runner but I don't know if I'll have the heart to run it.

I like it! Why not a mat black for the body?

I'm thinking black. But I want it shiny. But right now I don't have any money to buy paint and I have to buy some parts for the body before painting.
