BTCC Mondeo shelf queen
Another member of my Ford collection that has only run once (again minus body). Completely standard, from the plastic bushings to the MSC, I had to get this as I was a big fan of the BTCC at the time (before the wings arrived and it went downhill), and the Mondeo was run by one of my heroes, Andy Rouse (I also have a Kyosho Sierra RS500 shell with the optional Kaliber decal sheet to complete). The one time I did run it, I wasn't keen on the handling of the FF chassis. It seemed to have a lot of torque steer and a 'floaty' back end, but maybe that's just me.

I have this same kit with about a million miles on it. The biggest problem with it was the slicks. Those things are garbage. Not that you drive this but what completely changed mine was the addition of HPI V-Groove tires. The car tracks straight and the torque steer is much better. As for the wayward rear, I think that is a plus. I added a sway bar to the back and it feels like an old MK1 Golf GTI. My shelf shell and wheels make mine look exactly like yours but my runner bits are a ball too!
