G'day guys
Finished another body for my Sand Scorcher, I've had a new Blitzer body set for a while but couldn't think of any paint scheme ideas. Picked up the latest issue of ultra VW with a Porsche powered Kombi on the cover, bingo, I had my paint scheme. Also changed the wheels to a set of Sand Rover wheels that I had, was going to have chrome plated but in the end just painted them gloss black. I'm glad I did now. Don't look too closely at the paint job, every line bled whilst painting, then when I was painting the door handles, my daughter bumped me, I dropped the paint brush, caught it , then proceeded to put silver finger prints everywhere. Then to top it all off, yesterday we were on our way to the beach, I was checking both our Scorchers on the kitchen bench, when in my wisdom I thought that I would put my scorcher on the floor to test it. This is when I could hear in my head, Bollo from the Mighty Boosh say 'I gotta bad feelin about dis'............as soon as I turned it on it took off, straight into the pantry, of course the pantry door was opened which took a 1.5 inch wide chunk out of the top of the windscreen, all the way back to the Sunroof. Hopeless. I fixed it, but it was a rush job, it will have to be done again.
Sorry for the lack of action picks.

Despite the less than auspicious start, the car looks stunning. I'll look forward to having a closer look next vintage run up in Sydney. The working headlights are a great touch.
