Original Vanessa's Lunch Box
Wow, christmas came early for me this year!
The Lunchbox always was special to me. I fell in love with the box art back in 1988. It was a really hard decision between this and the Blackfoot. I went for the better performer, but always had some regrets...
When I noticed the re-release in 2005, the Lunch Box started it all again for me. I now have 4 Re-Release Lunch Boxes (incl. NIB Gold Edition), but no Original. Until now!! :-)
I was browsing ePay for another NIB rerelease, as it seems to be discontinued and getting rarer to find. Then I came across this mint Original. I placed a bid just slightly higher than a NIB re-re would be and got it for only EUR 35,00!!! I was soo happy!!!!
It was bought just before Christmas in 1994 (see 'Owners card' :-) ), then was built up and never finished. Its complete to the last screw. Something seems to bind in the transmission, maybe thats the reason why it was never completed and then forgotten. Should be an easy fix...
I'm going to finish this over Christmas together with my nephew who's getting a Grasshopper I. I'm soo looking forward to this!
She's going to get the best finish I can achieve and will stay on the shelf forever, adoringly stared at by me every day! :-)
