given away

When tamiya re-released this firedragon kit, i bought 3 of these from Jason and sold 2 of them, one to Holland and one here in Belgium and kept the last one for myself and added the NIB kit eventually in my showroom.
Now that i'm a daddy since 2 months and have less time for all my projects and still a lot of unlisted cars to add to my showroom. I decided to give my last firedragon as a present to my dad in law for all the hard work, he did in my house. He always looked at my cars and recently bought such a little rc car from nikko, but i never knew he had a real interest in these rc cars. I ordered a new chassis from europro as i used the kits one on a restoration of a terra scorcher. Finally i gave the NIB kit to him for his Christmas with new radiogear and today he came over for New Year and showed his first new build buggy ever. I think he did a great job on his first one. He's allready talking of wanting to buy an old blackfoot from me that needs to be restored so he's infected by the RC bug! Happy New Year to you all.
