Just got this from the Tip!! For £1 HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!
Well what can I say! I have just been to my local tip and as i was walking down the ramp i saw the back end of this little stunner poking out of the stuff they usally sell. So I asked 'how much?' and the guy said '£1 mate' so i gave him a quid and walked away with a massive smile!
The chassis is in good shape just 1 repair to a shock top, the gear's sound a little rough, but who care's..... The odd thing is about 15 yrs ago I chucked away a Holiday Buggy at the very same tip and have wanted another......What a Find!

Thank's for the comment's lad's. I can't stop looking at it! i have'nt even cleaned it yet. The shell is in Very good condition too both roof mounts are fine, it has a small crack in the roof panel and the normal scuff's but otherwise it's GREAT!!

Where is this tip? i wish my local tip sold stuff like this! Wouldn't it be ironic if someone had bought your one you threw away 15 years ago, and you've just bought yours back!? Nice one!!

Thank's for all the kind comment's lad's. The Holiday buggy was my First Tamiya when i was about 11yrs old, i kept it for a few yrs and then threw it away.....So to have found this one at the same tip that i dumped the old one was just abit strange?? I am going to keep this, it will be used, once i get some bit's for it.

Karma dude, simply Karma. I think that is a great start to the year and keep us up to date on the restoration.

Rates at your tip must be lower than at mine, I found my Clodbuster down there.... but it set me back a whole £2! Problem is, it must have now cost nearer £100 buying bits for it on the dreaded Ebay! Looks like your Holiday Buggy is in great condition considering, won't take you much I'm sure (& less than my £100) To get looking top notch!

They dont let us buy stuff from my local tip
