Just caught my eye.
There are some Tamiya cars that seem to just spike my interest for no particular reason. This is one of them, curiously the very next car Tamiya released was another, the Mad Bull.
With the Mad Bull it was a combination of big wheels, and the chassis with the rotated stick pack position that caught my attention, with the Blazing Star it was the tyres that did it.
A buggy with tyres that looked like they would be more at home on a Metaltop Pajero. I saved a search on eBay and watched a few come in go, in various states of broken!
Then I just happen to be in my local hobby shop nosing about, like I often do on my lunch break (very dangerous, I might ad!) and there on the shelf, NIB, was this beauty, and for a very reasonable price too I might add!
What can I say, I am not made of stone. So now I have another future build to throw on the pile, I really need to find some time to get my hands dirty!
A mate of mine has just upgraded all his racing brushless gear, and has palmed his old stuff off on me for a song, so I fear I could be breaking/fixing the few runners I do have, rather than building new ones!

These are very cool. Bulletproof bashers for years and years due to the tires and the incredible TA01 chassis The first picture is cool!

Do yourself a favor and send me the NIB and I will send you a perfectly ready to clean and reassemble basher complete with a painted and decaled body. Make sure you buy the metal motor mount from [Click here] before you mount any motor in that thing.

A great buggy, well I've never had one exactly but I love that chassis in scale trucks like the Hummer, one of the best chassis in RC and still going strong in new cars like the DF-01

Now I want one!

Never driven the actual DF01, but I know how the TA-02 handles, how reliable they are and how well you can work on them. Very clever chassis' if you think about it. I don't think the tires and wheels are the nicest feature on the car, but it is very original and will handle practically any terrain you throw at it without wearing down quickly

Very nice buggy I like it

This one seems to have struck a chord with people. I think it might end up being pink, for my daughters to play with, bullet proof will definitely be an advantage! Thanks for the comments guys!
