1/35 RC Buggy Roughy
This is the very first 1/35 RC Rough Rider i have built so far. Started to scratch build the body some weeks ago around christmas time and already did some castings of it. I was quite in a hurry to build this car since it is a birthday present for my brother.
We used to play with a Tamiya Rough Rider which belonged to our father in the early 80s when we where little, so i thought he will be happy seeing it again in a smaller scale. The Roughy is based on a slightly modified RC Scorchy chassis, so it´s radiocontrollable too. Unfortunately i haven´t had the time to look and find a suitable 1 cell Lipo battery, that´s why it´s not completely ready to run now. I definitely have to build one for myself too and post another short video in my movies section then.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome as always ! cheers, olli :-)

Marvelous stuff! Olli that is pure magic. That should be a addition to the entrance hall at Tamiya in Japan. Should go so nicely next to the cut away Scorcher that Scollins and some other guys worked on.

Thank you all for the nice comments, i´m very happy you like the little Roughy. I will build another one and make a video clip of it running against a Scorchy in some weeks.
@Henk: There´s a rumour about the community Scorcher at Tamiya-HQ, - i heard it dissapeared !? Don´t want a Scorchy or Roughy to get lost... Anyway, would be a honour to have one of the car displayed there.

I missed this one, it's awesome!!, Love it! BTW have you looked into the Team Losi 1/36 micros cars? You can find micros batteries there and many other parts you can use in your micro projects. Here a link to a model: [Click here]
Here a link to a shop who sell the micro batteries:

oldsterolli
Thank you Giorgio !!! I had a micro-T to build the micro Blitzer Beetle, very nice chassis indeed ! thank you for the link ! the battery would have been a alternative to the Kübel´s LiPo, but i think it will barely fit the Roughy :-/ Many thanks for the links !!
BeetleOne
I remembered later of your micro Blitzer Beetle
