Many of you have seen Walter's awesome 1:1 scale Scorcher that was built for the re-release at the Nurmberg Toy Fair in Germany. Here are a few more shots of the amazing car and Mr Tamiya himself.

LOL, limited edition on the ball diff means the re-sellers are going to have a field day withh those!. Get them quickly while you can, or Mr Tamiya please issue then as a general release!!!!.

I read on the Pistonheads website that this combo are doing the rounds at VW shows in the UK this year, the first outing being the Volksworld Aircooled show at Sandown Race Course at the end of March (iirc!) Think I'm going to have to save my April birthday money to go towards one of these rere's, such an iconic and classic car, and I've always wanted one! Thanks for the pics!!

Great car! Mr Shunsaka Tamiya is a very interesting man. A couple of weeks ago I got his book from Tamiya USA. I had a very hard time putting it down. Once again Great shots! I wish I could be there

Wow! that thing turned out great. Except the engine looks like crap. plain. I could of made that engin and engine bay gleem. still cool though. And that diff looks kick a$$! I bet most of them that get bought, never come out of the packages.
