This was my Audi Quattro Rally I got in sept 83, still hadn't got a good camera, too busy asking mum for another Tamiya. Fun car, the lexan body I had, I can remember thinking what a great idea to paint the inside 'it won't scratch when I crash it'

Thanks jeffy, I found these pics in the loft. I can't remember the chassis at all. After my 2010SS is completed I think I'll try and find one of these.
Real Wild One
This is great. I had a real Audi UR Quattro once many years ago. best car I ever had, just wished I'd kept hold of it. I'm an Audi fan through and through and we have two in the family now, BUT, the big question is...what happened to this lovely model? I'm thinking of trying to get hold of one of these to restore.

You and me both, where did this go?? it was my early teens, girls started to become a distraction and the cars took a back seat for a number years. I've no idea where it went... But I still remember saying 'look dad these tyres look like real ones they are amazing' I'd never a proper tramac tread pattern before..

A mate of mine had one of these. Fantastic looking cars. Tamiya should re-re this one. Would do well, especially with the TV exposure of 'The Quattro' on Ashes to Ashes.
