Hello all have you missed me????? I bet not. My visits for next few months will be few and far between as bought another property and needs a lot of work before renting out. :-( Right guys need some help identifying this car. At first glance its a HB or at least when i bid on it on ebay I thought it was simply a HB painted red BUT NO!!!!! Its a different car the body is moulded from red plastic. I have to say I have seen some clones and thought I'd seen them all. I have never come across this before though and its an unashamed copy.Identical other than the chassis. Perhaps we need a clone Sig on here?

Never even knew there were clones of the HB. This might be even a better runner as it has a sealed gearbox...

I agree the gearbox cover is a great idea/ upgrade. Better for beach running.

I remember seeing this the other week on Ebay and was thinking of bidding on it because it was a clone - no driver figure and no chassis cross bracing gave me a clue it wasn't an original Tamiya. It looks like this one --> [Click here] Good luck with the house

Someone has emailed saying its a QD holiday buggy and was fitted with radio etc and had a cover over the radio tub. At first I thought possibly but it has no tamiya marks on it what so ever.....

Now what are you doing getting clone fooled? The buggy is kind of a cool find. I hope you didnt pay to much for it. You might have to buy some extra building materials for that new rental.

No Mark I got it cheap. I bid rather early as no time for sniping and although a clone very happy with it. As Dante says with the sealed gearbox be a good runner. Although a clone its IMHO better made
and you're right about the funds although bought another old Scorcher. Well since the new ones aren't going to be the same I'll have more old ones..... Once the rental is done I'll get a Rere scorcher for the Summer to sit out in the garden and build while the kids play.

I reckon that was a good win, nearly bid on it myself, did ask the seller about the shell before the end as I thought it looked too good to be painted as they usually peel/crack, gotta be a trader surely

Mike I noticed someone ask about if it was painted or moulded red plastic but that was after I'd bid. Its defo a clone of some make !!! Worse thing about it its better than any original HB now thats BAD
