Near the end of 2008 I was looking around for another project to take my mind off of my TA04 projects and I noticed that I had enough spares for my Striker to build another one. I'd already painted the shell in white the year before because I wanted to have a nice shell in the wings for when my main Striker broke (again) so it was pretty much set from that point on. All I needed was a complete screws kit and a few of the necessary rods and I'd have another Striker in my hands... then I forgot about it until Christmas 2009! lol. I went and bought up the rods and screws I needed then, a few days after Christmas, I sat down with a sharp blade and my set of Tamiya screwdrivers and proceeded to build it. Took me about 2-3 hours because I took my time. The first time I built a Striker was the first time I built any RC and I remember kinda rushing it (hey I was like 12 or something at the time!) so this time round I wanted to savour it and, more importantly, get it right.

I realised, at the end of the build, that I was missing my NIP decals, the pinion gear and the driver's head but I was sure I'd find them when I got home. I found the driver, which I'm not going to put on until I've gotten round to painting him, but for some unknown reason I still can't find the pinion or the decals. I've obviously put them somewhere safe, so safe that even I can't find them despite near enough tearing the whole house apart to find them. Anyways, here's some pics I took in a hurry...

I might actually keep this as a shelfer... As it was... fresh from my spares box! As it was... mere seconds after completion!
