Almost finished the chassis of my brushless scorcher today. Just need to add electronics (and paint the shell). Still not shure if I should use the original badio box or go with the kamtech radio box (painted black).

The best protection in a plane too! Go for the black box! Love to see your body finished.

That chassis looks great with those blue parts. Alloy parts right? I think it all goes good together with the the old Kamtech shell. So will the gears hold up fine with a brushless? I would imagine one crash and the shell would be in a lot of pain.

Help needed, I wasn't going to go brushless, wanted to upgrade the motor and get lipo? is it possible

theortically yes. but as i did not test the setup yet i do not know if the gearbox is strong enough to cope with brushless power. only thing you have to change ist the motor cover.

I was thinking a tamiya sport tuned motor standard esc and lipo...?? would that be ok as a starting point. To give you an idea why so questions, my last car didn't even use an esc had the mechanical ones..

Should be ok as a stating point. You will have a major improvement to your old setup. But will not be really quick. As I am used to really quick brushless models (up to 100km/h v-max (see my brushless e-revo and my brushless Porsche Gt3 a am maybe a bit spoilt).

Nice one. Where can I find a brushless Motor cover? I have just bougt an ezrun that I just have to try in my Scorcher (check my showroom) but only briefly as it is going in my Monster Beetle in the end. The problem is I can remember seeing a different motor cover, but cant find reference anywhere now. Can you help?

did the motor cover myself. you just have to use our dremel to make a hole for the wiring.
