WELCOME ROB
Look what the cat dragged in today! I'm was so happy untill the deliveryguy asked for €10 extra costs... I know I know, what's €10 in a man's life, but still... . After opening the packing, I noticed that it was the backside of the box (silly me). Ok, after unpacking this jewel I noticed that this NIB is not so NIB. Some damage at the corner of the box and the blisterpack allready cutted open for some reason I can't find why! Ok, It took me from summer untill now to safe some money to finally buy this kit. Did some marketspeculation on prices to drop and waited paciently to have a nice Dollar-Euro conversion profit. All this in mind this kit still has cost me about €250, the price I would have paid in august anyway. So lesson learned! Sand Scorcher here you come, no matter what you cost!!!

Congrats on getting a kit you obviously yearned for!
Shame about the corner of the box but the blister pack is a common problem on these, mine was the same last year. Are you gonna build it?

That is really *****ty to pay good money for something you want to keep sweet and what you get is some azz h#$% package handler throwing your package around and miss handling it because he hates his job. That's why i never buy something as an investment.

@ Olly: I'm definately gonna build it, but gonna let it ripe some more until the time has come and I can't resist nomore

Try not to worry about it too much. It wil spoil your enjoyment. That's still the risk with buying online. Win some, loose some. But you've still got a great model. Enjoy it!

Hi,,750wp is also a member in TC and a very good person.I got 10 boxs with 2 kits inside Tamiya's boxes ,5 of them were damaged during shipment. One had also a hole from the carton box straight inside the cover.! 50:50 chance to get it right. So do not feel along and we can only blame the persons handling all these packages...Do not let this spoil it for you..! Enjoy the RR & SS and use these re-re as you should.!

@ Zulu: thanks for letting me know, I will be gentil one his feedback There is notting as important as good friends and kind words. The blisterpack still remains a mistery, anyone a clue?

Looks like the blister cracked open. The box must have got a good hit. The blister itself is of a rather poor quality though, especially around the motor. I've seen cracked ones before. Don't worry too much, as you're going to build it anyway!

Hi,,The Blister is a factory problem.I had 6 kits with broken blister at the motor area and only there. Its a common problem if you also read the forum for RR many of TC members have the same problem .The plastic is very thin in this area.So you are prepared the SS has a bigger problem and the tire blister is sometimes totaly off the green carton base...! I have received three SSs with 100% problems in blister.Read the SS forum again many problems.
At least they produce it with Blister pack.. Be well.!
