Hey fellas,
wow, I'm over the moon and soo happy to have this one back! :-)
I built this car back in 2008 using a NIB Mercedes Benz C11 kit and a HPI Cuda body. I was lucky enough to find a new set of ultra rare Tamiya Street Devil chrome wheels for it for a little 'Bling'.
I never ran it and regretfully decided to sell it to fund other projects. At least it stayed in TC with member Jedi Master. But I always missed it and left it in my showroom to have a look at it from time to time...
Then two weeks ago I saw Matts ad here on TC for an eBay auction selling my Cuda! Guess who won it!!! :D
Matt took good care of it and also never ran it. So here it is again, as it had never left. But I have a feeling it will be run this time!...

Stunning Pics of a super looking model, it looks 1:1!! Simply Brilliant

Very impressive. The grill is especially convincing considering (I presume) it's decals rather than actual lights!
Dante77
Thank you! Yes, all decals. HPI did a very nice job here.

Thanks for your nice comments! I think Tamiya is ignoring a huge market not offering these awesome muscle cars.

Just beautiful. The 'Cuda is one of my favourite 1:1 cars, and I completely agree with you about someone needing to fill that muscle car niche in the RC market.
SB_Aust
Beautiful. I agree it looks like a 1:1.

one Sweet Cuda, I had a similar machine on that chassis I also regret selling, might have to rebuild it while the C11 is still available
Dante77
@Tijs: I did, but it somehow didn't look right!
@Seth: Yes, yours was the inspiration for me to build this one. It was awesome!

Is this pant scheme your own idea because if it is the 1:1 scene is missing out

Sweet Cuda. Finest Mopar. Drive it aggressively. Tis the only way.

This looks fantastic! I also took inspiration from this car & have the parts sitting on the back burner/shelf to make something similar one day. Different colour maybe. Glad you got it back & in one piece.

i love the car, its just amazing. and as a mopar nut i love the two tone paintjob. nice work. i normally dont belive in shelf queens but with those ultra rare tyeres i would suggest changing the tyres befor you run it, just to keep them in good condidion.
