That's pretty nice work -- Who's the painter?
OCD
Lol, you don't say?
D-Spec
Yes OCD, it was I who was the culprit on this crime of beauty...lol
Corona Powered
Super nice. Can't wait to see it finished. Did you clear over the decals?
Wyoming
only problem I can see is that real Toyota trucks never had that good of paint work
OCD
It really is very good work... Are you for hire?
OCD
Answers man! We NEED answers, lol
D-Spec
@OCD: yes Sir, I am available for hire as I love to make the whole world a better looking place by adding to it a little Tamiya beauty....
@Wyoming; LOL!! thats awful nice of you to say that...but too bad for Toyota
@Corona Powered: Yes, the decals have to have that 'painted in' look, so yes, they were there in the last update before this was 'cleared up'
And Thank you guys for all the kind comments, enjoy!

Professional body work, I wish to have so nice place to paint!
OCD
I second what Wyoming said -- The old Hilux had one step above a military grade paint job. Seriously though, I would love to pay you to do some basic work for me -- Maybe spray a color coat and I can finish the 'details'? Your work is very good and better than most 'spray booth' jobs I've seen where the detail gets filled in.

oz-trash-cowboy
Mind if i ask on the clear? ?Is it 2k? What temp did you need for it not to lift the decals?
Dante77
Awesome job! Wish I had a paint booth available! I'm sick of painting bodies in the weirdest places!

@japper7, def4x4, Troy Heli King, mr pushrod, mr alan; Thank you again for all of your kind remarks as you know I love to put out great work if I can and appreciate your support for my work. Its really my pleasure
@SCORCHER KID; Thank You and I'm using all Tamiya products from the Primer to the Paint, and the Clear Coats is a High-Grade Automative Urethane Clear.
@oz-trash-cowboy; no, its Matrix AG-40 AutoGlas Euro Desin Clearcoat that was laid down at room temp in the paint booth.
@ Dante77, mcovalsk; Thank you for the comments, and if you ever want to come to Southern California USA, then you can be my guest at the booth .
@slimmy; As always, you are a gent, and its a pleasure to know you as well!
Will follow up once the clear coat hardens and I get all the details done....Have a great week guys!

Lil' rough, but not TOO bad! Shouldn't have used a brush, but some 80 grit should smooth 'er right out.....HARRR! Truly a job that shows dedication, patience and desire, Mate. This kind of paint adds more realism than anything else you can do: Takes it to 'Master'-level! (TIP: Don't jump it into a river or anything silly.) Chris
