This one I restored the last year.

I changed the rims into white Celica ones. In my opinion they look better on the Porsche than the original yellow wheels.

For the same reason I also changed the blue color into a metallic blue one. I used a repro bodyshell from TEAM BLUEGROOVE with original decals. I'm very pleased with the shell.

And today - one of the first warm and sunny days of the year I took her out to take some pictures... :-)

Comments are welcome as always.

Gorgeous - Nice to see a finished TBG shell in full detail. Not bad as far as repro shells go!

I like the metallic blue and white wheels too! Excellent work brother! BTW, is yellow wheels supposed to be accurate anyway?

Delicious. Those Celica wheels clearly suit. Will you run her?

I bought a TBG repro body for my 959 project, it makes me feel better seeing yours done that the body is pretty good looking with the original decals (which I also have)

Thank you my friends for your kind comments. I won't run this one - BUT I have restored another chassis I bought two weeks ago. And this will be a runner with another repro TBG shell that is on the way from Canada

The interior was from another battered 959 shell.

You hit the right note! Thanks for sharing the re-pro shell in close up details. Time to get one for myself!
