Hi The LED lighting kits are about £5.00 on ebay. Just search for RC lighting kits and choose one to suit your needs. I went for a 6 led set (4 white 2 red), they run off a standard 9v square battery, but I added a battery holder with integrel switch from 'Maplins' and stuck it under the driver next to the body of the car. There is just enough room for it above the radio box on the chassis. This means that the lighting rig is attached to the body shell and fully separate from the car which is usefull.
Check R2hobbies.com , they have great knockoff 3racing ledkits for under 10 euro's including shipping. You have brake, reverse and indicator lights in it. Very cool set

I did this mod to my Project Bugbuddy (see my showroom). I managed to put in 3 3mm leds in each cluster...
