Twenty or so years ago, I got my first glimpse of a Samurai, or so I think. My friend's neighbor, much older than us invited us in while he was tinkering with his R/C car. All I can remember are wires, beefy tires, and complicated mechanisms. It could of been anything! Well I'm 30 now and that same excitement from my childhood still burns with my love for cars like the Samurai. So what better way to celebrate than put my newest through it's paces on a surface fitting for an old buggy. I usually wouldn't drive a nice vintage model in a dusty, dirty environment, but what the heck. The location is a nice two track road at Hawthorne Park in Pontiac. The road drops down causing flight if you go fast enough and is very smooth. Hopefully the photos do this beauty some justice. - Jim

Thanks guys! @Scollins - Not sure I can bring myself to let one go yet! There are about three nice projects on ebay right now, though! I thought you'd be proud I actually got one a little dirty, at least.

Nice Samurai collection. I am the same, its hard to sell a buggy like the Samurai. I just bought another one to restore, this time I am going to paint it white, have got some repro decals made in the UK with black lettering instead of white. Will post some pics in a couple of weeks.

Thanks mrmarui22, I did paint one of my repro bodies white and used the ivan stewart colors instead of decals, good luck with your new project!
