Finally finished the wheels / tires how I want them. Still more to do on the rear engine and the roof lights.

This tire wheel combo would probably also work well on the Wild One :)

1 Where you will end up :) Used Kyosho Scorpion wheel Use gear to center bolt template Drill 5 holes Add 5 allen head bolts Front tire has 2 sections removed and then glued Rear tires are standard Hummer with paint 1 Gives car a taller more scale appearance 3

Did I read that right, the front tires are the same as the rears, cut down then glued back together. Does, that work??
Great work, love it....

very great work! Wheels and tires look completely real now. What glue did you use on the front tires? And does it hold?

This is great, the wheels look fantastic! What glue did you use to bond the tyres back together after removing the two sections? cheers, Joe

Thanks for all the cool comments. For those that asked, yes the fronts are cut down Hummer tires too. I use Proline Tire Glue to bond the tire. Works great and is also used by RC pros to build custom tires - so with the right glue is very durable
