I started this build at Christmas 2009 as my contribution to holiday buildfest... As it's still far from being finished I decided to show some pictures from the ongoing project.
As there were already some really perfect looking Giulias in race liveries on TC, I decided to try something different and came across the Squadra Volante, a 'task force' of Italy's Polizia Stradale. They had several Alfas in their car pool, even some Giulias, though I didn't find any GTAs. Thus this will be more a fantasy than realistic livery...
More pictures to come... Hope you enjoy!

Looks great and original! Well done!

Thanks for your comments! @california: This is just the idea I had: I added a picture of the decal-sheet, I sent for printing today

These Alfas reminds me on the 70's italian Poliziotto films with car chases like ' Poliziotto Sprint' a film with awesome stunts for that time.
Can't wait to see your finished Giulia.

Before 1982 italian police was a military corp, this is the reason of olive drab livery. Then police turns to civilian corp with the new light blue/white car livery. Always ACAB as usual anyway...

Nice idea, looking good so far. Your custom decals are cool too. Going to look great when it's finished

Masterful work brother CortoMalfese! I think the blue livery gives common perception of the Italian police car. What will you use for the blue light on the roof? I can not wait for this porject to complete!

Is there a chance to get decal sheet ? Can I buy one ? Or two ?
CortoMaltese
Thanks again, folks! This is really encouraging! I hope I'll find some more time, so the built won't last too long. @Victorious Secret: The blue light was the hardest thing to find... But after checking model shop after model shop I finally find one which I believe looks quite realistic. @california: I haven't gotr the decals yet, when they arrive I'll check them, perhaps I will then order some more...
