Well, it arrived today and turned out even better than I thought it would, and love the wheelies as it pulls away.
It has full Graupner radio gear fitted, the msc still works a treat and it even has a 6 to 7.2v adapter too. All I had to do was pop 4 AA's into the rx pack and a 7.2 into the trike and off I went. It even had charged batt's in the tx.

As you can see it's in vgc indeed. OK some of the stickers are lifting but after almost 30yrs or so waddya expect??
Bodywork is excellent all over apart from a couple of tiny cracks which are barely visible.

One q tho for those of you who have more experience of these than me is howdo I get a bit more pressure into the tyres, as I've popped one half of the rim out, let the pressure equalize and put it back but they're still too low for my liking.

And one more thing, do they have a diff or not?? It really doesn't like cornering. lol

This is gonna get a full stripdown and clean/re-build/re-grease very soon, see if I can't quieten it down a tad.

All in good time. lol. After the strip/re-build it should run better and I'll get it out for a proper run, then more pix and hopefully a vid or two too.

I was always fond of the real ones of these,I have never seen a 1:1 250 version, only the 110 version, looks like it would be great fun to drive,a similar feeling to the VLB or Midnight Pumpkin even? sweet.

It certainly has a similar feeling to the MP/VLB, unstable and doesn't like going round corners while under power. lol

Maybe some foam inserts would help? Looks like fun anyways!

That's nice, they do have a diff and he looks remarkably like one I sold a while ago which had the Graupner gear and battery adaptor - he's still in my showroom

Blimey, what a small world. From comparing your pix to what I now have I'd say it was one and the same. lol lol.

I had one of these back in the day (can you remind me of the model number/name?). On the tires, the original kit came with a hyperdermic needle that you put into one of the nobbles on the tire and pumped air into them. I would have thought a surgical syringe would do the same trick.

I remember all the lawsuits and bad tv press these full size trikes got from idiots flipping them over, they looked very cool and this model is super neat indeed!
