Here are the 'finished' action shots of my Sand Scorcher build, the pictures are courtesy of My cousin Jesse (Moondoggie). After this photo shoot the car really is well used like it looks lol! Nothing broke and I only had one flip over onto its roof in about 100 jumps, thanks to the safe and slow scale speed 55t motor ;) anyway thanks for looking and hope the pics entertain.

If you liked those pictures, you should see these...

Brilliant stuff mate - rivet holes on the green door are genius!!
SRB Bloke
Oh yeah baby!!!! pic 1 is great. What paint did you use to do the weathering, it seems to be multiplying the more use this beauty. I love your work here, well done...
Connor
Proffesional photographer alert! A visual treat!
pastimesteve
Excellent, amazing, stupendous! Seth, congratulations on the well deserved 1st Place in TamiyaUSA's contest.
Wyoming
Thank Badboy for the green door trim idea, I use all kinds of different paint for weathering, mostly Krylon fusion on this one. The Krylon Flat clear works well to seal it in but it has so many layers of paint, washes pastels, charcoal, real rust iron paint, chalk, graphite it would be hard to say just how I did it.
Challenger-RT
The first picture is surely one of the best action shots of the year! You have to join the TC competition !!!
neobrunox
Excellent Wyoming
Wyoming
Thank you kindly, I don't plan to enter this in the Mad max contest because I want to help Jesse with his project but this may be involved in some small way as a background prop or something.

taliesin
Seth, if the TamiyaUSA contest isn't over you should enter that first jump shot - I can't see how you wouldn't win the re-re scorcher competition with it!
Wyoming
yeah That might be fun to enter.
SMOKE-DOG
You might as well enter, you know you would win. They'll probably give you a new kit or something. This really turned out nice. The first pic should be a poster or something. Nice work with the camera Jesse.

Thanks guys, oh ok I've been to t101 before I guess I just didn't realize what it was as I don't always pay that much attention to all the features, I've never been in the TC forum either after 5 years or so lol!
Road Burner

Toykid

Fernado Alonso
Wow this so cool I really like picture 1 and 7

Cheers Alex
Crash Cramer
Very cool and the shot is absolute perfection. Congrats on winning both 1st and 3rd on the competition, I would wager the ball diff might end up in this beast to help it handle better??? I also must say that I am happy to see TamiyaUSA acknowledge yours and ToyKid's alias on TamiyaClub in their write up of the winners of the top 3 positions. I think we can safely say that the entire top 10 have alias' on TC as well, but is sure is nice that they have seemed to notice and giving credit. I wonder if that means they might start asking us TC members to 'vote' on some new additions to the RE RE family or just some RC cars we would love to see in our future. I can dream can't I???

@7.2: Only recently did I find out that I won Tamiya101 for my August 2009 hotshot picture. I only found out because I was Googling some of my own stuff and it came up. Never got any email or notice back then that I had won. lol [Click here]

Don't have to mention that this first pic is one the best there is...it speaks for itself
So cool how the mud only adds to it's charm. What an amazing project, nice to see these pics after seeing it go through all the stages of being built

Wyoming
Thanks guys, Moondoggie knows how to take a good picture and its not overly difficult with two people but it takes a lot of attempts, we go for quantity I think it was 274 pictures to get 5 but if you take enough pictures usually a few turn out good. It gets kind of boring driving back and forth over a jump for an hour carefully prepping the dirt on top of jump to lift each and every time but the results and you guys nice comments make it worth it to us, Thank you.
BeetleOne
Stunning pictures, everything awesome!
