G'day guys
Since my son won some repro decals from the guys at Tamiya 101, I thought that we would use them on his Sand Scorcher & give it a freshen up. Dom chose the paint scheme, I also added a re re exhaust & wipers that have been chrome plated, new Buggy Champ wheels that have been chrome plated then sprayed with Tamiya Gloss which makes thm look more like Alloy. there is also a new 540 motor, new esc & servo since we had blown pretty much all the electrics from driving it through water.
We are taking it to the beach tommorrow for a good flogging

You found the perfect paint job, nice one Dom!!. Where did you get the inspiration? I saw one very similar in a magazine back in the 80's. Might need to steal your ideas for my sorry looking project. Hope you don't mind.
