Well this has sat on the shelf for too long, I had used it a few times with the mechanical speed controller but it was so bad, it used to just run of every now and again. So now I have fitted 40meg radio, 2 cell lipo and a 12 turn limit esc ! and boy does this thing fly now :-) cant believe how fast it is, tyres are a little hard but great fun on the grass. This has just got to be one of Tamiyas best models of its time, we were all pottering about with our standard motors and this thing came out with that motor, I remember seeing them run years ago and they were fast then, now on a 2 cell they run forever and are just mental.

Thanks guys seems to be a lot of interest in this car, that shell is only a runner, hope to have a new in box shell on its way soon if deal goes through the red and gold decals on this body are home made.

Your chassis looks like new, not as a runner! Great looking 959.
