This is the next step tinkering with my M04-S ( follow link at the bottom for the first and second steps)

Still facing some understeer with my rear engined M04-S.

I have found, thanks to Origineelreclamebord, that I could use front hub carriers from TB/TG to get more caster angle to get more bite turning in.

All it required was to make the shortest ever upper arms from bits, you can see on pics 3 and 4 that the original arms don't fit. as for the rest it was a straight replacement.

Off to try it out !

Mine has a lot of understeer too, but it drives amazing. I can cruize along while every M03 is tipping over and waving across the track. I like understeering cars, maybe you don't

It's just that the track we use is sooo slipery it needs some help

On second thought it might be the setup. I run mine 100% stock except from ball bearings and Xpress tires.

I haven't tried the slippery track the club drives on friday evenings. Only have driven it on concrete and carpet

Do you also have the problem that when someone runs in to the back of your car its crooked? I had that Fixed it though. Was quite funny

Awesome! I see you didn't use the ones for the long suspension arms in the end, but the regular ones? I didn't even know these existed! Anyway, these indeed fit better How does it drive right now?

I wonder if the steering setup on the M-03M Suzuki Swift and used on the M-04L Beetle (but not the M-04M Alfa) would accomplish the same thing. It's supposed to increase the castor angle.
