Owning the Legend
I never thought I'd ever own an RTR car. For me half the fun has always been in the build, but there has always been something about the Slash that's made me want one. It's legendary indestructability, and more-scale-than-most RTRs have always been the main draw to it for me.
I sold my motorbike at the weekend, as my RC hobby has taken over as my 'big boys toys', so I had to go out and get one. Thanks to the superb service of ModelsportUK, here it is, in all it's glory. The 7 Cell supplied pack in on charge, and there is a field just round the corner from my house with the Slash's name all over it .....

Very nice, how do you choose between the two ratio's? Feel free to join and add it to the Short Course SIG [Click here]

This is a purchase you will never regret, I know I didn't lol! I like the livery on this edition - now go & abuse it!!!!

Connor: Oh it is going to get seriously bashed. And make the most of these pics, it's the only time it'll ever be seen clean!
Sticker: There's a switch on the transmitter that does it, but it's not something that can be done on the fly. You have to select the switch, then recalibrate the ESC - that's how I understand it from the manual.

The more i look at some photo's of a slash the more i like it. They look so mean and strong at the same time.

I've had mine calibrated on 70:30 constantly since I got 2S & 3S Lipo's, unbelievable power!!!

I'm not 100% on this so forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought the 70/30 on the tranny was for the throttle mid point ie: 70% forward movement 30% reverse giving you a smoother, longer throttle curve. As the truck has a solid centre shaft with no centre diff (optional on the platinum) Then I wouldn't think the amount of drive could be adjusted, I run mine set at 50/50 and its as tail happy as the 2wd, but as I said, I could be wrong, either way they are a fantastic fun truck...ENJOY!!

Nice looking Traxxass .
The more I see these the more I want one I hear they are fast !!!!
SteelRat
Aaah sticker, that does make a whole lot more sense. Given that as you say the central drive shaft is solid, and there's no central diff, I couldn't see how it'd be possible to split the torque like that! Swarm: Took it out for a quick bash last night, and yes it is fast. VERY fast. There isn't much travel on the steering control, so it can be a little twitchy until you get used to it, but once you do it's very easy to drive, and loves doing 4 wheel power slides on the loose

I am tempted to get one as well!
SteelRat
Do it SB.. you won't be sorry! Going to stick 2S LiPo on mine as soon as I can for a bit more run time than the supplied 7 cell NiMh. Have also been looking at upgrades and mods too. Proline and RPM will be the main source of them I'd wager
