Hotshot

Yet another lock down project, the Hotshot was a model I remember clearly staring at in the old Tamiya Guidebook. I decided to paint the body in PS-15 metallic red backed with silver and then black. The paint looks fantastic in the sun but the photographs don't show it off too well. I also decided that it needed gold wheels and since it was 4 wheel drive, it could handle a super stock RZ motor. With a 2s battery, this is pretty fast whether on tarmac or grass. Although I love the standard Hotshot, I thought the body looked a bit unfinished around the battery and motor, so I fitted a period reproduction JG Dart body, reproduced by Team Blue Groove in Canada.
