The evolution is my favourite buggy so looking forward to building my Evo hopefully I’ll be brave enough to run it though lol, great build pictures, what motor are you using
Its brilliant, but that alloy idler gear needs sorting out, theres a kit, 50529, thers a fully plastic spur and idler combo gear so you dont need the high gearing of the speed tuned gearing kit many use, which is a huge plus for me and my hot brushed motors=) Also RW designs makes an acetal idler gear that goes in the place of the alloy gear. Cant recomend them enough, the df03 main gear they makes the df03 alloy gear steel, my df03 will LAST.
But beware, the df03 main gear in steel is tricky to remove the alloy gear and heat up and hammer the new gear in place using a small tube. The df01 top force evo(lution) is by far my fav car of all time. I have one 30year old top force green, and two evo's one brushed and one brushless. One box art revive shell and a silver and white stickers normal gunmetal. Now i will fix the few dremeled plastic parts, get the same carbon shorty lipo mount. and i ripped the hobbywing system out for sale, and will replace it with the oldschool ko propo no limit and ready for new motor, a few motors left in the used briefcase w only motors. And it has reverse i am 90% certain. Hope so for track driving, or i get stuck 90 degrees out from the side, w reverse i half the times i need marshall help........

Thanks! Yeah so I’ve ran this once down the drive to test it so far. Hopefully I’ll be brave enough to run it more too!
I’m using a Super Stock TZ and 18T steel pinion.
