Willy's Development Mule

This is a four wheel drive Wild Willy with a selection of 3d printed parts.

This model has been bashed about while the 3d printed parts have evolved and tested to destruction by my nephew and has stood up to some pretty severe punishment.

The chassis started life as a GF-01 and has been enhanced with 3d printed Stage 2 modifications - what I'm calling GF-02 (Stage 1 conversion can be found here (https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=137457&id=18923). The body posts have been moved back 3mm to place the body correctly over the front axle when compared with the original vintage 1980's model. Also the rear uprights have a 2mm offset to reduce the wheelbase to be the same as the Short WheelBase (SWB) vintage model. The two part battery bay allows for a straight battery pack to be used without the body having to be removed. The receiver switch is located inside the cabin. Note: WR-02 E parts are used to restrain the battery.
