Original Sand Scorcher body and parts renovated - all original except the door handles (only one original in the parts) and the number plates (originals cleaned and kept).
Looks lovely, and you've performed a small miracle on the body. I was just thinking how much I really like the original mudguards/fenders. I think just that small detail makes the car look cuter and more bug-like.
Thanks both for comments - appreciate. I thought a vintage body needed a vintage paint job. And agreed those touch’s on the fender shaping on the original do make a subtle but cool difference to the look. Cheers
Thanks @delux + @GoFast80… yet flawless it is not I promise
My second attempt at that classic Scorcher livery though and a little improved. Patience is always my downfall…
I used EN685 professional graffiti remover sold on Amazon. Best stuff I’ve found. Cheers

Looks fantastic! I do like this boxart as much as the blue and white!

Painting looks flawless. Nice job.. Did you do the stripping? Always curious what people use.

Beautiful restoration! The rere is great but it's hard to beat an an original. Especially in these colours! Love it.

Superb paint on this one! Really sharp. Having just done the same I appreciate how much work goes into this. Also great engine detail.
