It won't be NIB for long. Pics will follow when built... I am not sure yet what colour I will go with. I'm waiting for my decals (a set of repro Hilux Decals from fleabay) to arrive, and if I decide to use them on this Hilux Truck, I will see what colour would work the best with those decals. Right now I'm thinking Red or Black, but we'll see.
Update (Jan 22, 2008): The chassis is complete, and it works great. I painted the body using Testor's 'Diamond Dust' metallic. I am not sure how much I like the colour. Please feel free to leave a comment and tell me if I should leave it or strip it and try something else... Thanks!
John

Hey John! I'm thinking in buying one of these sometime later on this year, but them tiny wheels are a turn-off for me. I noticed you modified it and used new bigger wheels and tires. I'd like to use the Blackfoot wheels for this truck. Will they fit or is there something I should know first about the possible modifications one can do to make it look more than a true Bruiser truck?
Have a nice weekend.

Reply to Mongoose1983: I tried to fit a rear Hub from a Blackfoot on the axle from this Truck, and I have to tell you that it does not fit. The Toyota Axles are not long enough. If anyone out there knows of a Tamiya Axle that would work to accomplish installing Blackfoot rear wheels & tires on the Hilux, please let us know. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, John. And what did you used here on your truck, four rear Wild Willy Wheels? are they the same the classic Pumpkin uses?

Reply to mongoose1983: I used the Wild Willy rear wheels/tires. They are not the same as the Pumpkin wheels. The Pumpkin wheels use a Hub that is similar to the Blackfoot, so they won't work on this new Hilux Axle.
