Inspired my Matt Hicks' awesome Wild Wendy and other head sculptures, over the years I've experimented with carving my own Wild Willy driver figures, typically customising their heads into open-face helmets to help reveal more facial features.

Initially I cut the key parts of the helmet away (in this instance the chin bar and also raised the forehead section), then use Isopon P38 body filler to fill in the gaps, before sculpting them with an X-acto knife and Dremel as required.

My Joker Willy is of course inspired by Heath Ledger's portrayal in the Dark Knight movie. He might look a bit scary, but at the same time, I hope adds to the comic twist that is having Wild Willy as a driver... after all 'Why so serious?!'

Nice work Jenny. You've done a lot of good heads over the years Keep them coming.

Well done Jenny you deserve it.
It’s always nice when someone wins who’s actually some modelling and painting.
As deserved winner.

Thank you SRBB - and everyone who voted! - I'm really touched! I've been spending time with my nephew and niece recently (who have a Midnight Pumpkin and Wheelie Montero respectively), so it's going to be fun to build another model with them so I have something to drive too - and I think Joker Willy is going to have to be behind the wheel*!

*admittedly, the Dual Ridge is going to require some serious cockpit surgery to get him to fit in it of course!
