This is a fantastic example of the bodyset produced for the second Tamiya radio controlled car, totally NIB (new in box), unstarted, as it would have been sold in local hobby shops from 10 August 1977. The kit has been looked after all of its life with only some minor wear to the outer box cover as shown in the pictures. It contains the correct window tree with all parts still attached to their sprues, the catch pin set which alone is valuable and also the Martini and Jagermeister decals (please see pics).
Just like the first RC car from Tamiya, the Porsche 934, the 935 Turbo flatnose took the 1:12 scale all metal chassis and combined it with a highly detailed static kit 911 body. The motor was enlarged to the longer RS-380 and an improved speed controller was provided with the kit to better handle nicad power, as opposed to battery cells.
I would be happy to answer any questions or provide more pictures on request.
I am also selling 934 and 935 NIP (new in packet) parts that I have collected over the decades, if you are interested please get in touch, some are listed on my other trade posts.
